Many patients at Columbus Community Hospital breathe a little easier due to the dedication and expertise of the Respiratory Therapy Department. Registered therapists and technicians are available 24 hours a day to give qualified, well-equipped and caring medical care for those with respiratory problems.

Functions of the Department range from handling trauma cases in the Emergency Room, responding to “code blue” emergencies in the hospital facility, maintaining ventilation for critical care patients, and performing diagnostic tests such as blood gases and breathing tests.
