More About Our Pulmonology Program
New Pulmonologist Joining Columbus Community Hospital September 2023
CCH is pleased to announce that we have hired a top Houston-area pulmonologist, Carl Dahlberg, M.D., who will be seeing patients at Columbus Medical Clinic.
Carl Dahlberg, M.D. was raised in Amarillo, Texas. He graduated from Baylor University in 1982 and Baylor College of Medicine in 1986. He performed his residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine, after which he completed a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachussetts. He has been in the continuous practice of pulmonary and critical care medicine in the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas since 1993. He currently serves as the Medical Director for Intermediate Care Services at Houston Methodist Hospital. He is the recipient of numerous clinical awards, including the Outstanding Faculty Teaching Award for Baylor College of Medicine in 2009 and the Master Clinician Award for St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital/Baylor CHI Hospital in Houston, Texas in 2013.
