Upon physician referral,
licensed radiologists and technologist perform advanced, computer-aided diagnostics
such as CT scanning, MRI, Ultrasound, Bone Densitometry, Nuclear Medicine Scans,
routine X-rays and Mammography.
Electroencephalograms
(EEGs) recording brain activity and Electrocardiograms (EKGs) measuring heart
function are also offered by the Department. These and other diagnostics offer
physicians detailed, non-invasive looks into the human body to pinpoint and
analyze illness.
Working closely with
the patient's physician, staff radiologists interpret x-rays and other tests
performed by the Department as well as monitor and supervise all diagnostic
examinations and procedures.
The
Radiology Department of CCH is dedicated to providing physicians with precise
diagnostic information required for effective medical treatment. The Department
offers the citizens of Columbus and the surrounding area quality testing close
to home.
